Established in 1989, Mountain Management at Telluride is a full-service real estate and property management company providing long-term rentals, vacation rentals, and real estate in Telluride and the surrounding region. The company has intentionally remained relatively small so that owners, guests, and tenants can expect to receive individual and prompt attention from each member of our talented and dedicated team. We work together to make your Telluride experience the very best!
STEVE SWENSON - Owner. Steve brings over 20 years of resort marketing and sales experience to Mountain Management. Prior to purchasing this company, he was vice president of marketing and sales for the Telluride Ski and Golf Co. He had also served as director of sales for Vail Resorts and was instrumental in developing the sales force at Winter Park Ski Resort. His extensive knowledge of marketing and real estate has recently allowed him to expand Mountain Management's presence into the Ridgway and Ouray area. His primary focus is on keeping this company the region's premier property management firm by offering only the best and most competitive service possible.
HARRIET SWENSON - Owner. Harriet comes into the property management realm from a slightly different angle...she has been a physical therapist for the past 14 years. While her primary focus has been on clinical care, she has also managed several therapy clinics during that time and has worked extensively in staff development. She is the mother of two young boys and for the past year has been developing a small business in the health care world. She shares with her husband Steve a passion for Telluride and a passion for excellence in service.
Melissa Trimble Kasehagen- Bookkeeper. Melissa has been in the hospitality business since 1986. She came to us a year ago from USBank in Telluride. She has been a resident in Telluride for over 2 years and enjoys the atmosphere! S he is married and her husband Shawn is in construction. They have two spoiled cats at home, Shadow and Snow Cricket. At Mountain Management, she is responsible for all bookkeeping functions involving the long-term and vacation rentals.
Tammy Eads- Vacation Property Manager.
Susan Johnston -Long Term Rental Manager. Susan has lived all over the country and now proudly calls Telluride her home for the last 3 years. She has a marketing background which has led her in many exciting directions throughout her travels and began her career with Marriott Hotels. Since those days she has raised three wonderful children and found herself working in the education field to keep up with the kiddos but upon moving to Telluride began looking for something to utilize her marketing background. Telluride Mountain Management was the perfect match!
