Telluride offers a wealth of activities both Summer and Winter.
Summer activities range from Hiking, Biking, Mountain Biking, Whitewater Rafting, Kayaking, boating, river floating, camping, Hot Air ballooning swimming, Tennis, hanggliding, flyfishing, skate boarding, walking river trails, to exploring old Ghost Mines. There are several National Parks all within a few hours drive of Telluride. Mesa Verde National Park outside of Cortez, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park outside of Montrose, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks outside of Moab are all blessed with incredible beauty and historical and geographic significance! With over 300 days of sunshine, Telluride has incredible warm sunny days and relatively mild winters. The snow is usually light and fluffy and averages over 300 inches a year. The mountain offers incredible skiing for all skier types and becomes a mountain bikers oasis in the summer.
